What this round is for

• Fifteen minutes with an idea you had never heard of an hour ago. Read until you reach the bottom of it.
• You are not reporting what you read. Decide what the one useful sentence is, and build the minute around it.
• The room does not know this. Every term you use unexplained is a person you have left behind.
• Finish on why it matters. An interesting fact that lands nowhere is trivia, and trivia is forgotten by the lift.
